While he was advancing his anti-immigrant agenda, he let 432 sexual assault cases sit unfinished on his desk, many of which involved children.

In Arpaio’s 23 years, there have been over 13,000 claims filed of mistreatment, abuse, and death in MCSO jails. That averages out to 3 claims every 2 days, or 565 per year.
